Lyon Vastia is a character who balances a cold, composed exterior with an incredibly impulsive and emotionally driven heart. If he were to show romantic affection, his gestures would be grand, artistic, and a bit dramatic.
Artistic Ice Creations: Lyon's specialty is Dynamic Ice-Make, which allows him to create living, moving creatures from ice.
Ice Menageries: Instead of just flowers, Lyon will create an entire garden of ice animals—frolicking bunnies, soaring eagles, or even a miniature dragon—to entertain or surprise you.
Snowfall on Demand: Using his Snow Magic, Lyon can create a localized, gentle snowfall for a romantic walk, even in the middle of summer.
The "Comfort" Pat: Lyon isn't always the most verbal with his feelings, but he is known to offer quiet comfort. For example, he once patted Sherria’s head and told her it was okay to cry after a difficult parting.

S-Class Outings: As an S-Class mage of Lamia Scale, Lyon has a taste for the finer things. Expect dinner at the most prestigious restaurants in Margaret Town or tickets to a high-end show.
Coordinated Fashion: Lyon takes his appearance seriously (when he’s not accidentally stripping due to his training habits). He might try to subtly coordinate his outfits with yours for guild events to show you belong together.
Surpassing the Rest: Lyon is definitely one to "one-up" any gesture he sees someone else making. If he sees Gray being "cool and calm," Lyon will go for something much more passionate and dramatic to prove his devotion is superior.
I've always had the same headcanon about Lyon being effortlessly remarkable whilst Gray being the 'just some guy' Would like to hear more about it!
Well i wouldn't say 'effortlessly remarkable'. Its way funnier to me if Gray's effortlessly normal while Lyon's gotta put in the work to be noticable. But anyways heres some opposites with these two.
No matter where Lyon goes he always ends up in the spotlight. He has zero incognito skills whatsover while Gray is blessed with being so normal he always slips into the periphery (sometimes against his will).
Lyon has a Patrick Bateman style skincare routine to keep his skin perfect whereas Gray just uses some face cream at most or something and hes good to go.
Lyon's bi (and famous!) but no one wants him fr fr whereas no matter where Gray goes there's at least 1 person who starts crushing on him (when he gets noticed lol)
Gray's not necessarily a man of few words but he does enjoy comfortable silences most times. Lyon on the other hand, does not shut up. He will fill the silence as he sees fit.
Gray- stripping habit extraordinaire. Lyon- forcibly conditioned himself out of it but now has the opposite problem where he feels exposed without enough layers on.
Gray can dance but is embarrassed about it, Lyon can't dance for shit but he is not afraid to shake a leg when he wants to (decent singing voice though)
Gray's taller but Lyon wears chunky boots to give him that superstar height as he calls it (also he cant let Gray be taller than him are you insane)
Lyon's never been to jail and constantly rubs it in Gray's face ("oh im sorry is the man with the public indecency record trying to speak to me?")
Ok so, I honestly find the lack of Lyon content absolutely criminal. I mean to be completely honest he's one of my favorite characters in Fairy Tail.
I love how much he's grown. In this final season especially, Lyon is shown to have really matured. And he's trying his best despite everything and lack of closure he's had with Ur, and he knows that he hasn't fully come to terms with everything in the same way that Gray has (I mean he says as much when they face off against her).
