“i didn’t tell you right away because you were gone when it happened and i regret it- god I regret it…” he stumbles over his words, rubbing the back of his neck. “and i want to fix it! j-just tell me how to fix it-”
Sooyoung is just so tired of everything. She honestly just wants to fly somewhere abroad, somewhere far away where she cannot be reached by phone and she can just forget about her life for a while. Of course, she knows that’s not possible, but hope is the last thing you loose, right?
She lets out a mirthless chuckle at his excuses, letting her back slump against the armchair she’s sitting in, defeat very obvious in her stance. After Hoseok’s revelation, her first feeling had been anger, but soon after disappointment had taken control of herself. It’s always the same story, over and over, and she thinks for a moment that maybe she looked the wrong way at someone and they put a curse on her. Or maybe there’s someone with a voodoo doll somewhere making magic to make sure Sooyoung suffers.
“There’s nothing to fix, Elijah.” She says with a deep sigh, hands coming up to rub tiredly at her temples. “It’s done, I’m done.” She starts, and suddenly there’s words spilling from her mouth that she hasn’t even thought through. “I’m just- I’m so tired of everything, of being hurt, of people constantly forgetting I even exist, of everyone doing things without taking even a minute to think about others.” A dry laugh interrupts her speech. “And people say I’m the selfish one.” She ends, letting her head rest against the back of the chair for a moment before she looks back at Elijah with just a hint of wetness in her eyes.
