With his girlfriend not having stepped foot in her office at the museum for presumably — hopefully — several weeks, Elijah was sure the flowers that he once left there were long since wilted by now. And with how hectic their lives have been since Rhia's arrival, he thought that they were definitely in need of replacing. However, standing in the flower shop was a lot more daunting than he remembered it being. Mainly because before, he didn't really have to worry about choosing a cat-safe option, since the museum was cat-free unlike their home where the new assortment would rest. Now, he was wary of picking just any ole' bouquet in case he chose something that would be dangerous for his pets. Staring at the different options for a ridiculously stubborn amount of time, he turned on his heel to head towards the front counter in hopes of finding an employee to ask. Instead, he turned on his heel to find Dilan. "Dilan, hey!" A wide smile spread across his face. "Y'know, I hope you're not standing here 'cause you're working too hard. Are you? If so, I'd be obligated to do the whole 'you have at least a cantaloupe in there, you deserve to rest' speech — I've gotten real good at it, so you definitely don't want to hear it."
