He’s pretty quick about texting back in general, given the whole point of texting is generally a faster talk, so. Except, again, on deep writing days where he distances from his phone.

How often our muses text:

Multiple times a week, for sure. Depending on the day and if they’re on a Marvel or Harry Potter schtick, several times in one day.

How often our muses call:

Nico rarely makes phone calls to anyone except his mom, but if Nic calls him obviously he’ll answer and talk with her.

Does my muse purposefully miss calls from yours:

Nope. In fact, he probably answers pretty quick on purpose in case she’s got something cool to tell him.

God, he never did this. He really never did this. He had at least six separate friends living in the building who had known him for the last year that had yet to see him drunk, if that were any testament. Nico didn't even know he had let it happen, really. One second he was talking to his mom on the phone after his shift in the lounge - something about a phone call from a certain executive's office; he fucking hated his mom being upset, but even more he fucking hated upsetting his mom - the next he was in the bar. That part wasn't unusual, he went to the bar plenty after shifts - he liked to chat with Kennedy and Ryder while they were working, give 'em a break from the guests. Usually his drink of choice was a coke or a Shirley temple, or something. Somehow those had gotten traded in for he didn't know how many shots, but it was enough that now Nic had shouldered the responsibility of getting him out of the bar. Alcohol and he were not good friends, history spoke for itself on that. As they exited the bar, it became increasingly clear in the way Nico's emotions were on another level.

"Fucking--" He slumped back against the elevator wall as the doors slid closed with the two of them on the inside. "I need-- I need you to take this." There was nothing for Nic to take from him yet, he was delayed in fishing his phone out, but after a beat his hands patted himself down, feeling at the front of his jeans, then the back. Finally, he found the device in his jacket pocket, nearly flinging it at the woman as he yanked it out of his pocket to hold out to her. "I can't have it. Just-- just trust me, don't ask. Please, don't ask." His head shook back and forth in a continued swivel for a few moments before he thumped it none too gently backward with a clench of his jaw. "God, I think I really fucked up, Nic." There was a break in his vaguely slurred voice, a waver that cracked the single syllable of her name as he blinked hard. "I think I fucked me up doing it, too. Damn it." Righting his head again, Nico ground his teeth together and worked to take in a full deep breath through his nose; only half successful. "Don't-- Don't leave me alone, okay? If you have to wake Ryder up or something, I don't fucking know, but-- Please."
