fic dropping tomorrow
introducing the cousins au!!✨
so since nick won’t give us more rise, i decided to do it myself!! i’m really intrigued by the mystery of who big mama’s assistant is and the two biggest theories i’ve seen on who they could be are venus de milo and slash. i couldn’t decide which one i liked better, so now they both work for the big spider lady!!
essentially these two were replacement turtles that draxum tried to mutate after lou jitsu made off with our turtle boys, but they were deemed failures because they were too...turtley...so, big mama took them in and raised them as her personal assistants!!
i’m working on more art and a fic for this, so keep an eye out!! i’ll be tagging everything as #cousins au to keep things organized!!

here’s slash!!
i wanted him to be big, but i didn’t want to take all the beefiness away from our raph so i made him a little less wide. he’s like a smidge taller than raphie though, like just an inch or two!! he’s also got a a ton more spikes all over since he’s an alligator snapping turtle, and i gave him a crack in his plastron because i always like that part of 2k12 raph’s design!!
not only did i steal that little bit of character design, but i also stole a lot of character from 2007’s raph too. slash is restless and feels like he has to prove himself (no thanks to big mama choosing favorites) so he threw himself into the battle nexus, which is where he got all the scars from!! he also has a lot of time on his hands since big mama usually has venus take care things, so slash kind of roams the streets of nyc and the hidden city when he’s bored.
i love my boy and i can’t wait to do more with him, so off to write that fic i mentioned!!
