𝙒𝙄𝙏𝙃 𝘼𝙉 𝙀𝙓𝘼𝙈 𝘿𝙐𝙀 in less than a week, marissa should be focusing all her attention on studying, but as she's sitting on her bed and reading over her cue cards, her mind keeps shifting back to the conversation she had with one of her friends a few hours ago. while having a spa day with maisie, the topic of boys had been brought up and while the other girl had multiple stories of her conquests with guys on campus, the blonde realized just how behind she was when it came to experiences with the opposite sex. sure, she'd kissed a few stupid boys in high school but nothing else had ever happened and she never felt like that was a big deal; however, once she started college, she realized that her inexperience might be an issue if she was going to start dating. what if the guy she was into wanted someone with more experience? what if she embarrassed herself when things got passed second base? god, she would be mortified. she thought it was too bad that she didn't know someone who could teach her all the things she was curious about... and that's when the idea hit her. warner had been her best friend for years, she trusted him with her life and maybe, just maybe, he could be the answer to her little problem. it's not like she'd never thought about him that way, having spent most of her younger years with a major crush on him and at one point even thought he'd be her first everything -- first love, first kiss, first time. although, those feelings had been pushed in the back of her mind when she realized that she would never risk losing his friendship and eventually got over it. or so she thinks. when she looks at her phone for the fifth time in the last hour, she lets out a defeated sigh and takes the device in her hand. her fingers move across the screen quickly and before she can psych herself out, sends the boy in mind a text. hey, are you busy? i need to talk to you about something. a moment or two passes before he replies with an invitation for her to come over and within minutes she finds herself at his place off campus. ❝ is your roommate home?❞ she asks, sitting across from him in the living room, eyes meeting his with a small, nervous smile. she wanted the conversation that they were about to have to be private.
