some thoughts on Chapter 394-395

better be late than never. just being busy. here you go:

FT 394: 

- my fear about Juvia being a vessel of END was unfounded.

- like the worried look on Lucy, Natsu and especially Gajeel (who was in sheer disbelief) when Juvia "died'; and the way their faces light up when she destroyed Keith

- chuckled on the surprised look on Natsu and Gajeel when they realised she's destroying the enemy from the inside by turning into water

- the way she destroyed Keith/Keyes was fantastic, in the way she made him explode from within, though i admit the words she uttered during that moment were unnecessary. that's the way i deemed it anyway. not trying to pick a fight with those who believed otherwise.

the things that i don't like in this chapter: the tentacles and the skeletons. you know what i'm trying to say here. i don't know why the author has to resort to these so-called fanservice. a good story-telling doesn't need this kind of stuff. but oh well, i'm not it's writer. 

FT 395:

- Juvia coughed blood, infected by interference particles. fainted in the arms of Lucy

- that moment between Juvia and Lucy. the love rival thing in reality doesn't really exists in Juvia's mind. it's just her way of playing with Lucy. you know how true friends. they will annoy you with their antics, make fun of you, but they are not serious about it.

- Etherious Forms vs Dragon Modes (Lightning Flame and Iron Shadow). two words: Badass scene. nice to know Gajeel kept that ISD, not just a one time thing.

- that ending of the two silly dragon slayers punching each other. ought to be funny, but just made me smile a little.

what i don't like in this chapter:

- Juvia contacting the particles. Laxus and Raijin Tribe inhaled those particles and are currently suffering from it. Juvia didn't inhale it, instead took it in (unitentionally) while in her water form. that's worse than inhalation. shipwise, it may be good for Gruvia, but storywise and this part's title, i don't like where it is going. i've read about other people's theory of Hiro Mashima possibly writing off Juvia since Lucy got Aquarius power (though this power tend to be seen if it's permanent or not). and now i have apprehensions over the matter with Juvia contacting injury because of those magic particles. i might be wrong though with my apprehensions and i wish i am. hope i'll be proven wrong. i also want to laugh at the antics of Gajeel and Natsu, however, as some said,that silly fight was just a breather for what was to come in this arc's fifth part.

Fairy Tail 395 Review

*spoilers*

Ahh, Juvia! You are so awesome! Good job! Please don’t die. OMG, no. Find Gray and you can comfort each other and live happily ever after once this whole fight is over. Again, please don’t die from those particles.

Go Sting and Rogue! I hope Minerva really is gonna be good, since you came back for her and all that. Please at least wear down Mard Geer a lot. I really hate him.

Okay, the first bit of the chapter was cute/kinda sad. The rest of it, however, was so funny!

The exceed talking about Minerva being a good cook and all that. Haha!

On a serious note, I can’t wait until they get where Minerva is leading them.

Next hilarious part, Natsu and Gajeel. OMG, what dorks. I don’t think the start of that fight could have been done any better.

Okay, that’s my review for this week. I’m a bit confused because it seemed like there was at least a page missing from the end. There was no little chapter conclusion and “next chapter” thing. I saw someone post that there won’t be a chapter next week and I saw another post that there would be 2 chapters this week. All I know is that I don’t know what the next chapter is called and my twitter app stopped letting me translate Hiro Mashima’s tweets into English. I’ll have to go translate it manually and then maybe I’ll know what’s happening.

Anyway, thanks for reading! I hope you’re missing Jellal in the story as much as I am, because I don’t want to be the only super overly excited reviewer when he finally shows up again.

FT 395

Seriously, what’s up with the random title, where is the extreme pain? I loved this chapter because of the jokes that have been missing lately (lol) and because I get to see that Natsu (and Gajeel) has an overwhelming power and can defeat a demon in his true form easily *-*.

STILL NEED MORE OF NATSU ON THIS ARC.
