I’ve been quiet about my running recently because it hasn’t been pretty. It’s been driven by anxiety for the race at the end of the month and I’ve been discouraged and down trodden. Thanks to my wonderful friends, Becky, Christa, Cass, Liz, Kris, Nicole, Vikki and my mom - I went back out there this weekend and did my best. Yesterday was excellent. Today was troublesome. First time doing back to back ‘long’ distances and I put too much out in the first half - pacing matters and I didn’t pace myself. Next weekend I’ll know better and I’ll do better. It’s been rough but I have a support system and I’m getting help. Rocking these long runs. It was a super struggle bus and I came up a tenth of a mile short but honestly it’s not bothering me - I’m calling it a character break.
