I completed my first 10k race in 1:20:14. It was definitely not my best run or my fastest, but I am so happy that I finished it 🏃🏃🏃

ESTONIA’S NIGHT RUN ✅

When you realize that you’re running in a literal hurricane 😂

But I’m very proud of myself because I PR’d, got 2nd in age group, 9th woman out of 2600 and 52nd overall out of 3500 people!

My first experience running a 10 KM race and AT NIGHT but I loved it 🙌

The first 8-9 KM were fine and all cool when suddenly the sky turned pitch black in 5.4 seconds and a literal hurricane rolled in, people were all over the place and fighting this SUPER HEAVY wind and rain, but I still managed to finish and PR, I’m happy! 😇

Another PB, two days in a row! Managed to finish the Market Drayton 10k in 48 mins & 49 seconds. Third 10k in April: Guatibiri del Otoao

This month I signed up for three 10k races, three weeks in a row. After I signed up for all three, I got a little nervous that it might be too much for me. I was afraid I might get hurt or too tired and would burnout after the second one, or even during the last one. I was told this one, El Guatibiri del Otoao, used to be a half marathon but was later changed to a 10k because it was too much. But…

🏃#HailRun 🎖 Today I knocked off my bucket list another thing as a runner I have not done before and that was run in a hail storm. Ran @epicracingevents New Haven 10K for I'm thinking the 4th or 5th time and now in my new age group of male 50-54 I got my 1st in almost 3 years 1st place, which was a nice surprise. I was not training to get a PR or sub 1 hour, so it was nice to hear my name when it came to awards. The race itself started out really cloudy, but around mile 3. The rain started and at mile 4 it fell hard and shortly after that the hail started and on my bald head...it was not that comfortable. But I pushed and think I might have passed a few older gentlemen in my age range, as I saw them walking either through or around the puddles I was running through.
