Summary:

While Sherlock’s recovering from being shot, John has to work out what the hell happened. Why did Mary turn up in his clinic in the first place? Why is Sherlock lying about her “surgical” shot? Why is Mycroft protecting Magnussen? For that matter, what's to be done about Magnussen?

Since John can’t trust any of them to tell him the truth, he’ll have to play them all against each other.

Kaleidoscope starts with a classic fic premise: that after Mary shot Sherlock, John moved out on her and back to 221B. Every shard in my kaleidoscope has featured in at least one post-HLV fic; this is just a silvercoated version, where every turn of the kaleidoscope shows a different picture. What does it do to love to keep secrets, out of distrust and unwitting condescension?

Sherlock returns and discovers what remains of his best friend. The two men attempt to navigate being around each other again and discover what their newfound second chance will bring them. As they learn who each other is again, they begin to repair what was broken by the Fall.

FTH Translations

Hello hello! 

After a few months of life getting in the way, I have finally posted the translation for @bluebellofbakerstreet 's amazing punklock Interview fic!

I had so much fun translating this story because it is SO good, and the Interview format is one I hadn’t seen before. It’s such a cool way to get you to learn about the characters, and the art is beautiful. 

Whether you’ve read it before or not, it’s absolutely worth a revisit, because come on, there can never be too much Martin Freeman in punk outfits. ;)
