“It’s been, what, a week and we’re still talking about this? Shouldn’t we focus on class?”
Rita spotted her next victim, and her mouth twisted into a grin, as she flounced down next to them.
“So, anything interesting happen recently that I would find fascinating?” she asked, although she already knew all the juicy details.
“I have this aching feeling--like they are hiding something from us.”
“But, don’t you find the danger a little exciting?”
After the emotionally exhausting events of the train, all Rita wanted was to finish this week’s issue of Witch Weekly and enjoy the feast, but of course, when she felt unwanted eyes on her, she of course wasn’t going to glare in return. Staring eyes always led to good gossip.
So, she looked up and gave them her sweetest smile.
“I’m f i n e,” Daisy said, slightly forcefully. “Why are we even talking about me, sorry? Aren’t there more important things to discuss? Such as the fact that there are obviously dementors on the train.”

Rita was about to follow the Slytherin chaser and the girl he had latched on him when the trail lurched to a stop. The ensuing coldness frightened her. It felt so sad. So lonely. What were those creatures they’d studied? Right. Dementors. The thought of soul sucking demons did not sound appealing, so she ducked back into her compartment, and pulled out her phone.
Did anyone else just feel the train stop, or was that just me?
She pressed the post button, blew a bubblegum bubble, and waited for some sort of response as Effie crawled over, meowing angrily.
“ Wait, did you just say Dementors are on the train? Bloody Hell, what f o r?? “ Dorcas didn’t appear to look amused, especially with the thought of Dementors on the train.
