JUST MET NEIL KAPLAN
Danae leads a simple life. Art conservator by day and partially reformed art thief by night. Things get a little more...
Did I already reblog this from my main blog? Yes. Am I doing it again? Yes.
So I've been working on this new story/universe called For the Love of Art, and I'm going to make a point of posting little character blurbs and sides here ala writblr. Maybe even some lil drawings. Stay tuned...

Case number 2. My old case and hook set has been passed on to a dear friend of mine who is just learning the ins and outs of crocheting. My new one has all the hooks I could ever need I've also come across legitimate stitch markers (Hobby Lobbys Jumbo Stitch Markers) and a pair of scissors given to me by my grandmother. The green things on my hooks are also from Hobby Lobby and I don't know how I feel about them just yet. I forget what they're called but they are supposed to help you hold onto your hook better and, because my fingers tend to shake/sweat, I thought it would be a good investment. Granted my fingers don't slip anymore, which is great, I just don't know how I feel about the way it sits in my hand. I'll keep you posted on them though! ~ Happy Crocheting! ~
The belly of my turtle pillow is done!! Woohoo! Working on multiple projects can be a bit taxing but the results are worth it in the long run :) Here's the pattern again for you guys! Turtle pillow
My Toothless amigurumi! I've completed his body, all 6 horns, and one ear. It's hard for me to see the stitches in the black yarn due to the fact that I have poor vision as it is but the pattern is definitely doable! I only have his legs, head, tail, and wings left, wish me luck! Here is the pattern for anyone who would like to take a peak as well :) Toothless ~Happy Crocheting!~
So working on several projects now including this elephant for my Alabama bound sister. She leaves for school August so this will be my main focus followed by the Toothless the dragon I’m also working on. This elephant has no pattern I am literally winging this and I’m kinda proud of the progress I’ve made in the last three days (I work retail part time so I don’t get to crochet as much as I’d like) and I’m hoping to finish this up hopefully by the end of this week!
