Now that I am in the process of coming out and transitioning, I wish that I never had. It is so hard to deal with all the backlash from family, deal with the paperwork, the emails, the doctors visits, the questions.
Sometimes I feel like it would just be easier to let my true self disappear and suffer quietly rather than be open, exposed, and vulnerable as I journey to become myself.
I just want to disappear. I wish this would all go away.
Me when I identified as a lesbian: fuck I hate this. I wish I were straight and normal. Me when I've come to terms with being trans: fuck I wish I was just a lesbian again. Life would be so much "easier".
Before I came out to my dad I thought he'd either abandon me or make me feel so ashamed & humilated that I'd just collapse either way. The first thing he said was "I can't imagine what it must have been like" & was getting really emotional when talking about seeing me suffer & he does not show emotion normally. He ran lots of calls for me & wanted to push so that I could start my transition as soon as possible. He's said basically just the right, understandable things & says he's always known.

Idk know if you’re still doing these but FTM confession: I’m a trans male and I want to become a nurse. I’m worried being trans will restrict me from my dream job 😔 I’m scared of not getting a job or people thinking I’m “not really transgender” because I’m in a “women’s” career (which is BS by the way. Anyone can be a nurse)
