There is a story behind this photo at @fortmonroenps For one, I’m smiling, but it’s because I am a little apprehensive. Up until yesterday, I had NEVER been on a Segway, ever. I was hoping that I would not fall on my face lol Two, it was so COLD that I had to bust out my winter gloves, coat and scarf, and that wind was biting! Three, my guide, Randy, and my host Elizabeth had so much faith in me that I could do this thing, that I didn’t want to wimp out😁 Well, I did it y’all! I rode for an HOUR on that Segway, all over Ft. Monroe, and aside from the cold, I LOVED it. The last 15 minutes of the tour, I felt like a pro. If you have the chance to get to Ft Monroe in Hampton, please make time to ride with Randy & his wife Jill @patriot.segway_fortmonroe If Randy could get me to ride, he can get anyone ready to ride!
