ok so i'm gonna do a quick recap about dual. if you don't know who dual I kind of feel like you're missing out. but everyone has their favorites and he is my favorite, Of course, along with Jakey. But in short, Duel is evil Jakey and takes place in s4 and does show up a couple of times in s5 but he is the main antagonist in s4. Someone come with me before you come and hate on me for liking Jakey. I can't actually say anything. I just love him and his story and. I don't care if I get hate for that, I've grown used to it over the years. But having Dual as part of his story made me love him a lot more because it just showed you another side of him. So let me explain Duo's background in story because I love him. Duel is the future version of Jackie in S4. Most of the stuff that happened in season 4 has happened to him before already, But of course, things are very much different for him. also take some of the stuff i say with a grain of salt because it has been a couple years since I've refreshed every fact about him. First of all, bryan and Jakey never got back together. RIP them. So they never made-up. They kind of hate each other or whatever. Also, lopho apparently does not care about him. he doesn't care about the whole time travel mess or whatever. Also a main thing like the biggest thing out of all of this is Viper was supposed to kill Oliver. And purely it wasn't supposed to be on purpose, like it was an accident. Don't know how you accidentally kill him, but yk. Apparently the only person who cared about Oliver when he died was kay Lopho, and bryan did not care. I'm going to backtrack a little. Duel has purple eyes. It's apparently because he is overpowered or super strong or whatever. Because he tried to save Oliver but he was too weak and he couldn't go back in time I guess, or something prevented him. So he tried to learn dark magic and a whole bunch of magic to try to bring all of her back, but he couldn't. This also means he like went through other timelines to try to see if he would live and he did not live like Oliver in the dead and all those of the universes. And when he found Archer cheeky, he saw that Oliver was alive and like, it wasn't gonna work to where Oliver died. And he was like, that's not right. He is in the wrong at this point because he kind of wants to kill Oliver so this Jakey can go on the right path that he went on to and be stronger. But of course, Jakey doesn't want that. He's happy his Oliver's alive and he doesn't care about being the stronger if he has his friends or family. So in like the end his plan fails and like he ends up accidentally killing Kay because she ends up transforming into Oliver. Well Duels tries to stab Oliver and ends up stabbing Kay. And then apparently they just "get erased" from the timeline. But he comes back in S5 for like a couple scenes and he's like, "I'm slowly fading away, But I'm just gonna tell you some things. Because I've been through what you're going through. Because I'm from the future." I just loved them so much. I love the story of how he's morally in the right, but also way morally in the wrong. Like he once jakey to become stronger and all this but to do that he has to do something horrible that traumatized him and affected him greatly and is going to affect Jakey greatly. Also he just makes me sad like a lot. He lost all his friends, he had. kay died. He's essentially alone. He tried to do what he thought was right Failed. There are only a few plot holes like when he goes to a land tide, the grandmaster like whatever. There are a few things that like I get a little confused about. Like he wanted to bring back Oliver with the help of Eden but was also going to kill Jakey Oliver It was the whole thing. Anyways, I love him and I hold him dear, my heart and. Even though people hate Jakey a lot, and technically don't know who duel is I love them both . Also I did not reread this so if there's mistakes rip.
