Part of me thinks it’s a culture thing (because I once read the the age of consent in Japan is 14 or 15?), but another part just thinks Mashima’s catering to the bigger pervs of the series (which is hella disturbing, like squick worthy)

Whatever the reason, I really don’t like it and really wish he’d tone it down (as in never EVER do it again kthxbye)

I'm pretty sure it's never been mentioned, the most we've ever gotten was talk of other countries, like where Gray came from, and Bisca and Alzack came from somewhere in the west. Honestly I wasn't even aware their continent was called Ishgar, although I'm pretty sure that was mentioned at one point. Everything about the development is very out of the blue

That’s what I thought. The only thing mentioned of the West was Bisca and Alzack’s homeland (and back then I thought Mashima was talking about America XD)

Honestly, even though I am excited to travel outside Fiore, I feel it would make more sense to go to Ishgar’s other countries because we actually know of those (and damn it, there’s a country called Seven for pete’s sake! HOW ARE WE NO TALKING ABOUT THAT???)

Oh well, at least things are a little bit more interesting, right?

Mashima said that natsu and lucy’s child was named nashi, but in japanese it means nothing so it was a joke. Some people did not get that

omg yeah i heard it meant nothing so i was wondering why people were still using it. so he actually said it as a joke lmfao
