I have been a long time sesshoumaru fan but only recently and I had to witness how ugly the fandom is. A former friend of mine suddenly blocked me out of fear of me liking sessrin and accused me of being a pedophile. Which completely left me speechless. It should go without saying that I'm not into adults messing around with children/ minors and this former friend made me feel like I was the scum of the earth. I think some people need to calm down. I get so angry when they accuse sesshoumaru as grooming her and being a creep because it tarnishes his character. There has never been any implication of sesshoumaru being that way. So why do the antis have to be so aggressive?? They cannot be sesshoumaru fans if they think he would do something like that with a child.

First of all, I'm sorry you had to go through that. But i say, good riddance. Honestly i don't want no friends who would accuse of something so vile, literal criminal name, over a mere fiction (a freaking anime ship) which doesn't even have that dynamic in the first place.
To define grooming, it means sesshomaru would have to have ulterior motives since the beginning but did he have that?? If we are watching the same freaking anime the answer is no he didn't and doesn't. If i can quote from someone, real people can have hidden intentions but a character only have what you give them. Please.
Gotta agree about the bit how those people are no real fans, they are the ones who were failed to interpret sessrin's relationship and then blaming us the shippers and even Sunrise for making HnY happen. They are bitter their headcanons for over a decade crumble before their very own eyes. Idc if they think HnY is a bad written fanfiction which is not canon at all bcs hey i get to enjoy this animated fanfiction with a fullblown budget and you can sit on your sad corner try to invalidate (aka harass) us when we enjoy our shit in peace.
