I was seriously annoyed trying to make sense of the cafe bg because of this
Also bg 1 is obviously either a very VERY bad photobash (god I hope so) or slop meanwhile bg 2 is obviously hand drawn
which for 1 I have sent a dm to one of the mods and was told "idk how it was made but I know it wasn't with slop" which ok but but then how was it made, was it photobashed? Was it a personal phone picture and then just filtered and brushed over etc to make it less "photography"? Which then how do u even end up with those differences? sent an ask about how the bg was made when the official tumblr page opened them but got no reply cuz duh ofc I wouldn't xD but it kept bothering me so sharing it here (since I had to suffer through it to draw the damn thing)
And no I'm not looking for a speedpaint of the bg lmao I'm genuinely curious how bg1 was put together if not slop made
Like im bad at drawing bgs too and I HATE them with a passion which just has me question what happened and went wrong with bg1 xD even more so when like bg2 all the other game bgs are very obviously hand drawn (even if they would be traced from photographs they are still hand made)
Me having drawn the damn background after multiple mental breakdowns cuz wtf was going on between the refs and cuz I had to draw a mf bg
