And you know they *really* want it bc when you switch it off they log you out and do a confusing log-in coercion bit to try and trick you into thinking you have to give biometric login access in order to turn off the ai tracker. It's fucking vile.

It's under Privacy, Ebay and AI, AI-related individual rights, right to object, and then that takes you to the toggle option page, where they then log you out and try to make you set up biometrics. This is on a desktop, I don't know what it would look like on mobile.

I hope this doesn't sound stupid,
I want to change my email to anything but Gmail but I don't trust anything at the current moment.
I've heard of the Proton one and stuff, but I can't help but feel anxious? I've done so much on this account and I don't understand how to change it to a different email?
Is there any officially safe ones for mobile android phones? If I were to get a new phone, would I have to go through the same process? (Also I completely understand if you don't understand what I mean, genuine apologies.)
Do not worry about sounding stupid we are all goin through this together bud and you have valid concerns and questions. Okay so proton vpn itself connects to multiple devices but only works one at a time so transferring the vpn is pretty easy. For the gmail to protonmail, you just have to manually transfer it but the site/app shows you how to. As for saftey the company is based in Switzerland which has strong data protection laws. And if anyone else has anything to correct or share plz do.
