Rewatching Supernatural is so wild now because all I can think about is when was the exact moment Jared turned into a closet white supremacist. Was it before or after Jensen made out with the hot black lady?
Oh god. Things are bad for our poor hero, like REALLY bad. Chapter #37.
This is the angstiest chapter of the whole story so if that’s not your cup of tea, I’ve got a “Too Angsty; Didn’t Read’ summary of what you missed at the bottom.
This figure towered above me, as it stood hips pressed into the counter. Black slacks, a black and silver leather belt, pressed white dress shirt under a custom fit suit jacket, a gaudy silver and gold watch gleaming menacingly in the vanity lights, partially covered by black leather gloves adorning each hand.
“S-Sam? What the fuck are you doing here??” He tore off a black cloth face mask that had covered his nose and mouth, to reveal a wicked grin. There was murder in his eyes and I had nowhere to run.
“Hello, you little fucker. You didn’t think you could just get away with all that did you? You made me look like an absolute fucking idiot in front of some of my highest profile clients. You, somehow, managed to convince Eveline that she would be better off with you than me.” He laughed loudly at this preposterous idea then leaned down, casting a darker shadow as he got closer, bigger. I stood there frozen to the spot, “Look at you… you’re nothing more than a smudge on my windshield... I could crush your pathetic little skull between my fingers… like that!” He snapped his fingers directly in my face. I winced. “Once you’re out of the picture, everyone will get over themselves and realize you were nothing more than an insignificant pest anyway. After all, tragic little accidents happen all the time to tiny guys like you. What a shame. He should’ve watched his footing. Oh, well.” He smiled even more brightly. He was relishing every second of this. I suddenly felt very, very small again. My heart threatened to explode from my chest, as I looked around wildly for a path to escape.
The couch! I could probably jump from the lip of the counter and make it to the arm of the couch! Maybe, if I scurried down the back side, I could post myself up in some hard to reach, dusty corner. I took off running as fast as I could, my hat flying off my head as I tore away from the human looming over me.
He laughed, “Go ahead. Run, little man. Make me chase you, it’ll be more fun this way…” I ran as hard as I could, before finally making it to the ledge. Without hesitating, I leapt over the end of the counter and dove for the couch. It looked like I was going to make it! But just as my hands and feet were about to claw into the tufted leather, I felt a sharp pull behind me as I was suddenly engulfed by powerful gloved fingers.
He squeezed me tightly in his fist. I was hardly able to breathe. No matter how hard I twisted and squirmed I couldn’t break his grip. He held me up to his face, eyes gleaming with delight. He cast his gaze down, picking up my hat between the pads of his giant thumb and forefinger. His fingers, looking even bulkier and more menacing inside those thick, winter gloves, dwarfed my hat into a pathetic little toy in his grip. “Well, look at this… cute little get up you’ve got here… but you’re not fooling anyone. You’re still just a little pipsqueak in a stupid hat.” Holding it right in front of my face, he crushed it between his fingers until it was practically unrecognizable. My throat tightened as I watched it be destroyed but I was careful not to give him the satisfaction.
Suddenly, I felt the world shift and spin as he pinched my ankle between his fingers and let go, making my body snap like a whip, as the air was sucked from my lungs. I found myself hanging upside down. I writhed and kicked, trying desperately to pry myself free. He laughed at my pathetic attempts to loosen his solid grip. Then, as though he were playing with an hour glass and watching the sand slide about as he flipped the object over and over, he pinched my left wrist and held me right side up, making my shoulder burn and ache as it bore my full weight. “You really are a tiny little thing aren’t you? I mean, fuck… I could step on you accidentally and probably not even notice…” he flipped me upside down again, pinching both legs this time, he shook me, making my teeth chatter painfully against my skull, as I felt vomit begin to churn in my stomach. The fall from here was dizzyingly high, his wicked face dominating my vision was even more nausea inducing.
He flipped me again, but this time, he held me by the roots of my hair. I shouted in pain. That gave him great satisfaction. He shook me about, tearing my hair from my tender scalp. My eyes watered, the pain was excruciating.
“This is more fun than I thought!” I shook, not with fear, but with anger. He barely seemed to notice. He held me before the mirror, forcing me to stare at our reflection. There we both were, staring back from the polished glass, so wildly different in size. I looked so small, dangling pathetically between his two massive gloved fingers, “Look at yourself, compared to me. You’re fucking tiny! Without your stupid fucking friends, you’re nothing but a blood stain on the heel of my shoe!” With all the nonchalance of tossing a pair of keys down on a table, he dropped me on to the counter. I landed with a painful thud. Scrambling to my feet, I took off again. Aiming for the same spot on the couch, I leapt again, and was crushed between massive fingers again. He tossed me back on the counter. We did this again and again and again… and again.
My whole body was in searing pain, my legs quaked, my lungs were on fire. This was nothing but a game to him. A game with my life hanging in the balance. To vary up this game for himself, he’d let me get a little bit farther each time, giving me a false sense of hope. Eventually, he allowed me to get all the way down to the wooden floor, but before I could dive under the couch, he stomped a giant, leather dress shoe in my way. I skidded to a stop, and tore off in the other direction, away from the deadly footfall. He toyed with me, crashing his feet down in my path and making me swerve and duck trying desperately to get away. Eventually, the toe of his shoe dug firmly into my ribs, sending me rolling painfully across the rug, tearing up my skin with its rough fibers. I flipped over onto my back, staring up at this evil giant towering miles above me.
Slowly, manically, he lowered the toe of his shoe down over my full frame. Against my will, my whole body quaked. All he had to do was apply a few pounds of pressure and I would be utterly crushed beneath his foot. “Awwww… poor little guy! You’re scared now, aren’t ya?” He kneeled down, grabbing me by my hair again and sliding me out from under his shoe. I screamed and spat, boiling with rage. He threw me back on the counter. “Go on, little fella… I can do this all day. We’ve got at least another...” He checked his gaudy timepiece, “..Twenty minutes of playtime before I have to slip out of here…” he was loving every second of this. Like a cat toying with a mouse before devouring it whole. If I was going to die by his hands, I wouldn’t do it lying down. I was braver than that. I peeled myself off the floor, staggering to my feet. If this was the end, I’d give him a piece of my mind.
Barley able to stand, I summoned what air I had left in my lungs, “You are an abusive, narcissistic piece of shit! Fuck you, Sam! You’re so goddamn insecure that you’re not good enough for Eveline that you try to keep her locked up from everyone and everything she loves. Well, newsflash, motherfucker, you’re not good enough. You never will be. I’m ten times the man you’ll ever be because I don’t try to change h—“ something hit me. Hard. I was flying backwards until my skull cracked against something rigid and cold. My vision was ebbing. I felt hot and cold at the same time… was I going to black out?

My brow furrowed as I sat in the green room. I checked my phone for the time. It’d been a good fifteen minutes since I had talked to Stephanie. What was taking her so long? I felt bad, I didn’t want to be the overly protective mother hen, I knew Penn could handle himself just fine but, call me paranoid, I liked for someone to be there just in case a fan got too excited or something.
Just then, I spotted Stephanie crossing the hallway, talking on headset. I rushed over to grab her attention. “Hey, what’s going on? Did you escort Morgan backstage yet?”
She looked at me wide-eyed, confused. Was this girl stupid? We had just talked about this. “Uh, your manager told me not to? He said that he needed to discuss some things with Penn privately and to drop the meet and greet?? I-I thought you knew?”
***************
He’d used the back of his hand to smack me across the counter and into the mirror. I felt hot blood pour from the back of my head. I was absolutely going to die for this, but I didn’t fucking care. I picked myself back up, staggering to my feet and spitting out blood soaked saliva between gritted teeth. I stared up at him, unflinchingly, as I spread my arms wide, “See? Even this, even now. How pathetic is it that you’re having to fight a fucking pet for the life you think I stole from you? Why don’t you pick on someone your own size, asshole??”
I was knocked off my feet, squeezed tightly in his fist, his thumbnail was pressed with deadly purpose into the soft flesh of my neck. “You little bastard, how dare you!! Do you have any idea what you fucking are? You are nothing! A toy! A pet! A fucking bug for me smack out of existence! You’re kidding yourself if you ever think people will see you as anything else. Spit and curse all you want, you’re still going to end up with your neck snapped on the floor when this is all said and done!”
***************
Something twisted in my stomach. A very bad intuition.
“You said the manager told you to call it off? I’m the manager! What the hell are you taking about? Who was this??”
She looked like she was about to cry, “I don’t know! He- he had a mask on… Oh-oh wait, no he was definitely a part of your group cuz he was that guy with the fancy watch. I remember the watch now… I’m sorry I forgot his name. Did, did I do something wrong??”
Oh my fucking god. My stomach dropped. “Is he in there right now??” She nodded.
I whipped over my shoulder, shouting to the three other band members down the hall, “Guys it’s Sam… he’s fucking here…” they leapt to their feet, joining me in a moment.
“Stephanie, I’m going to need you to unlock that dressing room door right fucking now…” she looked petrified.

just watched all of season 4 in one sitting, and i really liked this seasons villain. the twist was really good, also krease learning from his mistakes and slowly becoming better?
miguel this season deserves a hug. that scene with johnny in his room actually really broke me good. season five better have them make up in the right way. their relationship is the best thing on this show.
sam was only a little bit better, but i still can’t stand her honestly. i was really happy tori won the tournament. those two bully eachother it isn’t just a one way thing.
i’m bummed eli didn’t end up with demetri i was bummed on that.
but fucking FINALLY robby came around with his dad! that endless trope between the two of them was so annoying. so they can finally mend things.
and all the amazing content between daniel and johnny was just chefs kiss. like we were fed well the beginning of the season.
mrs larusso and her son can piss off though. they were very annoying this season. telling tori not to hurt sam before the tournament like honey, this is karate what do you expect.
