Fuck my manager who started scheduling me almost all deli shifts after I changed my availability.
Backstory, if you don't know it, is in Sept 2018 I was told I was gonna be moving to the bakery as a cake decorator and would be only cakes by Oct bc one of the 2 decorators was going to be retiring the following Oct. Come Oct 2018, I was still splitting time between bakery and deli. By Oct 2019, I was only working deli once a week. (Partially bc several people in the deli quit or got fired over Dec-Feb.) Also, the woman who was going to retire decided to finish out the year, is still here, and is probably going to be dropping her availability to just a couple days a week soon.
By Nov 2019, my favorite manager (B) was making sure I was getting as few deli shifts as possible, with the other (S) acting as if he was in support of it. (While he's not supposed to be doing anything with the schedule, it has been widely known since I started that if there was a schedule issue, S was the person to talk to about fixing it.)
Mid Dec, I cut my availability quite a bit, for personal reasons that include exhaustion bc I'm pregnant. At the end of Dec, B left my store for a job she loves. Within 2 weeks of her being gone, I went from 4 cake shifts a week (basically all cake shifts) to one.
And on my most recent schedule, I have a whopping ZERO.
First off, I have trouble doing a lot of things in the deli now that I'm over 6 months pregnant. Secondly, with our veteran cake decorator still planning to leave or at least severely cut back her hours, WHY AM I NOT DOING MORE CAKES.
I'm just. Pissed.
