Were you aware that most makeup brushes were made from fur!? Animals such as goats, squirrels, mink, pony and sable live in horrible fur farms to provide us with fur. They’re either killed (electrocution or gas mostly) or contained in cages for their whole lives to provide us with these natural fibers for our makeup brushes. Synthetic fiber brushes these days are 100% comparable to natural fiber, and in my opinion are even better! They last longer because they don’t splay out as easy or get rough feeling with age. Just like with Mink lashes there is no “cruelty free” way to obtain natural fibers. No dead animal or caged animal is living an uncruel life.
