...during my second playthrough it just occurred to me that if Giangio knows about the Gold Fruit Tree and how it could help slowing down the Petrification Disease, it means Simon and Geppetto must've known about it, too... then learning that Antonia basically had one such tree in her hotel's goddamn garden... and then realising that Geppetto probably did not, PROBABLY DID NOT try to use it to save the life of his own son. Because Antonia would've allowed him, they were friends, she even allowed Giangio to stay at the hotel and have the tree's fruit... but he did not. Both Romeo and Carlo caught the disease and Carlo succumbed to it faster. Geppetto rather used them for his... experiments. That's just. Fucking heartbreaking.
