the way landlords are calling the LIVING room the "reception" now and sometimes even removing that room entirely to make it a "2 bed flat no reception" is actually fucking nauseating

like yeah let's make it explicit now that we're literally giving you the barest minimum to exist on. It's a luxury to have a ROOM YOU CAN LIVE IN now.

now give us £2000 per month for this 2 bedroom apartment which is actually a 1 bed but we put a bed in the living room so we can bump up the price for an extra bedroom and also it's provided furnished so you can't even change how it's laid out

i fucking hate subscriptions and the wording they get to use in like, briefly confusing me and probably other people with how to actually proceed with canceling. i had forgotten i still had like two streaming subs open that equates to like $30/month, which is probably the pitch for other apps that track that shit but like????i shouldn't need that!!! if i pay you a monthly subscription you should be required to email me a statement every fucking month. i hate it here.
