It occurs to me the difference between the original Digimon theme and frontier is Digimon digital monsters is iconic but frontier slaps

Oh yeah, you nailed it.

For me DIGIMON DIGITAL MONSTERS DIGIMON ARE THE CHAMPIONS is extra funny to me because in the Hebrew dub, they dubbed over the English opening, and translated it mostly directly...but there was a problem. That main phrase, spoken in Hebrew, is one beat too short, so they had to add a very awkward "Yes!" (in hebrew obviously) at the end to match the song.

I grew up on it so I can only find it charming, but it is and has always been gloriously goofy. I love it.

But Frontier? Frontier's theme is just fucking awesome, and the hebrew dub also dubbed it, though this time with a more graceful translation, so I always knew how much it slaps.
