the death glares were hard to miss here &&. there, though if they were in true nature, that was hard to tell. emerald hues flicker between the ground &&. mal. almost as if she was seeing if there was enough room to actually do much of anything. yet it seemed to her, from where she is sitting, that doing much of anything seemed to be a long feat of anything.

not that it seemed fruitless or even impossible. just that mal was a considerably bigger threat than she could ever be used to.
