last night, i dreamed that the zombie apocalypse was upon us, and i suppose it occurred when i was visiting fandom friends, because we were together. destroying zombies. building awesome shelters. probably doing some recon at night to get food and supplies, we've seen all these movies, so obviously we knew what to do.

then we met the zombie queen. she was mauled by zombies, but was apparently immune, so she had zombie-like features but had superpowers instead of being a mindless killing and eating machine. she also controlled the other zombies. 

so we made friends with her. she made the other zombies leave us alone. then we hung out with her and her wife and it was awesome.

the future, because i'm sure we won't be living in space before i die,

i hope they do and i hope you don't think that someone else's comments are my own i do think it's esp fucked when this happens in swing states like it did in florida (and here) and near you. i'm just a cynical person by nature when it comes to elections so if it's close waiting a few weeks is enough for me to become suspicious of tampering and recalls. :\

it's cool, i just wanted to put my two buckeye cents in. there's always a lot of suspicion and paranoia around elections--god knows i'm as guilty of it as anyone (see: gore v bush, some recent local races, chicago 1960)--but it's important to remember that as flawed as our system is, and as much as republicans would want you to believe otherwise, it mostly runs on the up and up & as it should, with the work of thousands of upstanding people who want to ensure it's fair and free.

but i'm not gonna lie: if we have another month where i'm glued to msnbc, watching people squint at ballots and voters desperately clinging to the hope that it wasn't their fault things got fucked, i am going to LOSE MY MIND
