Tamagotchi Paradise Wins First Place in Japan Association Toy Poll
Japan Association runs an annual poll to understand which toys are hot this year (the top 10 toys). The poll technically asks what toy would you like to give your children and your grandchildren, and Tamagotchi Paradise has earned first place! Now that’s impressive, citing widespread popularity of Tamagotchi enjoyed by all ages.
Second place in the poll were stuffed animals. Another interesting figure is that the average budget for gifts this year is ¥8,378 as the toy industry is hitting new sales records.
