I’m the one rusty, but in my headcanon his French is not flawless either. He’s flawless in Japanese and English though, otherwise he hadn’t come around that much yet. He did pick up on French from his mother, which I think is half-French. And he has a basic grasp of Chinese as well - gotta order cheap shit for tricks, Chinese comes in handy.
