A Full Moon
Summary: Fluff about the reader trying to take care of Remus after a full moon which soon trurns the other way around.
Y/n didn't know how to help, it’s not she could find a cure for Rem and that made everything worse, she felt helpless and when she felt that way, she just overdid everything.
“You sure you don’t want anything else? Another pillow? more blankets? chocolates? alcohol? anything Rem?” She knew she was being annoying but she just couldn't help herself, how was she just supposed to stand there and let the most amazing person in the world suffer?
“Y/n, love, I’m fine,” Remus said, his voice was tried she didn't know what he was tired of but that made her restlessness even worse. “Okay, you just rest, I’ll get you- um- I’ll get you A BOOK! That’s right, I’ll read you a book!” she was just about to walk to his trunk when Remus said, “Y/n, love, just stop,” even after going through that tough night Remus’s wasn't being impatient, his voice was calm and sweet, being the understanding person he was, he was more worried about how his girlfriend was handling him being a werewolf than how he himself was doing.
“Sorry,” she whispered, and sat down next to his bed on the recliner the boys had kept next to his bed. “I just don’t know what to do, I just want to help,” she looked at him, her guilt showing clearly in her eyes. Remus shook his head, a small smile on his face. “Come here,” he said as he pulled her next to him, his arms snuggling her close to him.
“Rem, you are hurt, I-”
Remus shut her up by gently placing his lips on her. “I’m fine, this is my normal, I’m used to this, and I’m fine. And you can’t change this, don’t be guilty for something you can’t change princess,” his words were soft and gentle and very comforting. “Love you Rem, so much.” her arms wrapped around his waist, making sure she didn't squeeze too tight.
Remus smiled, a big one this time, he would never get tired of hearing her say that. Never in his wildest dreams could he have imagined a girl like her, so sweet, so beautiful, so kind and simply just so perfect love someone as messed up as him. “Love you too princess, more than you can imagine,” his words were true, and he hoped she knew that he meant everything he said.
“Just tell me if there is anything I can do okay? Promise me that you’ll tell me if there is anything you need okay? I just want to make this as less painful as I can,” she said, her face buried in his chest. Maybe it was the werewolf thing or just a Remus thing but he was always so warm.
“I will, now get some rest,” he ordered her, kissing the top of her head.
It was funny though, she was the one supposed to make him feel better but was why it always the other way round? How was it that Remus always managed to cheer her up, even when he went through a horrible transformation? No matter what the reasons were, she knew that she would go to the end of the world for this man.
