فُلَّة 🌸— الوطن العربي (2009)
I have a sneaking suspicion that later in the brand's life, newboy started taking inspiration from Licca Chan when it came to Fulla. The house playsets are very similar to that of Licca Chan, and the dolls got significantly smaller. Not only that, but Nour and Badr would have very anime-ish eyes during this time. In the first few generations, the anime influence was almost nonexistent, seeming more reminiscent of Barbie. I would've loved to see more of a Licca Chan influence when it came to the faces, but during this era Fulla would look the most like barbie than she ever had, in the face department.

So I Made a Purchase
Back in November of 2003, the Middle East got their own version of Barbie, named Fulla. Fulla's a type of flower (I believe) and she has proven to be quite popular.
Now, to import one from the Middle East is super expensive. So, I went onto Mercari and found the doll pictured above for $18 plus $4.99 shipping. And now, she's mine. Yep, I bought one. Figured she'd look good on my doll shelf.
my most recent lucky doll finds! first lot i found all in a bag at goodwill and fulla was at my local flea market, i’ve never seen one in person so of course i couldn’t pass her up :)
