He had already quickly noticed the familiar ears and tail (he was meeting a lot of those, huh?). But what was most prominent about this one was her behavior. He tilts his head, trying to see the cover.

"You were muttering and giggling a lot, so it must be really good. What're you reading?"

While it was strange to be in this place without her Trainer, Sakura Bakushin O decided to make it her mission to learn more about the area. Fibonacci Ward had been recommended to her - especially with the different activities that this island was hosting for the season she found herself in.

She is staring in awe at the Gingerbread men being made by others before she sees a similar checkered hair-bow out of the corner of her eye. Lightning fast, she turns and sees none other than one of her fellow Tracen Academy classmates!

"DIGI-TAN!!!" The sakura-petal eyed horse girl exclaims before sprinting over to the other and giving them a hug! It was so SO nice to see another fellow Umamusume.

HOW HAD HE WOUND UP IN THIS SITUATION AGAIN? honestly, he had just asked for directions, notably where best to familiarize one self with the city. he knew the bare basics, having listened to what was said to them upon arrival diligently 一 about the hole, about the city itself. but this? he hadn't expected the one he asked to talk his ear off, let alone about something completely unnecessary.

if the look on his face doesn't say it, then his next few words would surely drill the point into her that he was wholly uninterested, right?

"I do not believe my young friend here is one of the peculiarities for this event." They step in front of the girl with the equine ears and tail, placing themself between her and whomever had been reaching out for the poor thing. "I believe one of the lovely little ducks is looking for your attention." Pointing to a three eyed duck with a spare leg, their expression becomes withering when the stranger walks away.

"Ah, how bothersome." They turn to her.

"You truly do not need to put up with that for being different. It is clear they were staring simply to stare." When the poor duck doesn't get breadcrumbs, they kneel down to feed it some from their hand.

"Are you alright?"

The lighting setting should be fine now. As soon as the pattern - a baseball bat and a ball - appears on the sky Yesol lifts his phone, setting himself against the fireworks for a selfie.

However as soon as he brings the phone closer to check he notices someone at the corner of the photo.

" Huh? "

He turns to the girl eyes wide.

He's been running the track for a bit now, and he doesn't seem at all exhausted from doing his rounds. He's still running. Though he does seem to notice someone watching, which slows him down to a stop.

"Did you want to run?" he asks loud enough for the lady to hear.

His walk had led him along to a dirt track from what he could tell. What caught his eye wasn't necessarily the track, itself, but the fast paced individual running laps. Normally, he would had let one be and move on with his day, but he had become curious. This was quite a sprint this person was on, and it wasn't often he could see one here in the city with that kind of stamina. Hell, he wasn't even too sure if he had his stamina recovered like that yet. He may be well, but it didn't mean he was back at his full strength. He dared not test it.

"Someone like her with this ability... Reminds me of a noble green beast of Konoha. I can hear the old screams of youth from here..." he muttered to himself as he was humored by old thoughts of his days in Konoha. His meetings with Gai back then we're rather simple. Usually it was him trying to meet up with Kakashi after their duties as ANBU were over. Though, he did have one last meeting with him. A meeting that would had turned the tides against his partner at the time.

As he continued on, he would notice some features of this girl running. She was not a regular human which did explain a bit of the stamina she had. He caught sight of the tail, but he couldn't quite make out any other features with her hair and speed. His eyesight may be fine for it, but there was a bit of distance for someone that was rather small. Now came the question... why was she running laps like this?

"His name is Klaus," Aurelius begins irritably before snatching his phone out of the stranger's grasp. As usual, a beautiful photo of the seraph graces the lock screen of his phone, which the angel changes regularly from his collection of selfies every week. He would prefer it if the images rotated on their own, but Isolan technology had yet to catch up to his whims.

"Though I am his most ardent supporter, please don't call him strange names."

"He is my partner."
