The term Full company is absolutely something used by J and N.
What I mean is when J joined the polycule she had no idea what a polycule is and came to the conclusion they needed some sort of way to make sure each of the three get proper time with uzi so proposed the polycule in the terms of a business.
Uzi is naturally the CEO because she makes most of the decisions in the household while J clearly must me the executive manager. She let the other two decide their own terms. N went with team support because he supports all these decisions V meanwhile did not care the entire time.
The Company is called Full Company more as a joke on Uzi when she complained it should be called that because her room was currently full of disposal drones. J seconded it not realizing it was a joke while N was okay with anything and V decided not to participate at all.
It still runs on the same rules as before and nothing at all has changed but it brings comfort to J so the others decided to just let her have this even tho none of them really do anything with it.
Yes J has made company pens and other stationary surrounding their new found "Company" and is still working to trademark many terms including "Bite me" sadly for her tho outpost 3 has no form of copyright law so the process has been slow but she will get the rights to make company products based around uzi's totally original catchphrase.
The three of them don't get it at all but N still supports it and Uzi is just glad she has something to do now with her free time.
The dynamic between everyone and the emotional home they can provide for each other is EVERYTHING to me! EVERYTHING!!
It's about understanding and forgiveness toward others but also yourself and relearning to love.
It's about love in different forms!
I think it's a perfect mix of personalities that are so different they come together as a whole by closing emotional and physical gaps they have as individual people.
I adore the sense of second, third or fourth chances as well, which plays into a lot of the dynamic with J.
If that's all you wanted to know: Yay!
If you wanna know what I think of their dynamics keep reading!!
To understand my interpretation better I also want to lead with my opinion that N is the most emotionally mature one and needs the least help with growing as a person.
He is absolutely the heart and calm center point of the group even if he doesn't have the same effect on everyone without him a lot of this would not work as well at all.
Establishing Full Company circles around J a lot because for me it can only work if Envuzi are already secure in their rs.
But everyone has their important parts and feelings in this.
Nuzi especially I think are very healthy with each other and communicate well.
Of course they have their problems, I especially think Uzi would deal with abandonment issues and jealousy she handles inwardly a lot at the start so they would need some time for her to feel safe enough with her role in their relationship to even add V.
N is perfect for this, he tries his best to make her feel seen, not to placate her or people please, but because he genuinely cares so much and legit thinks she's the coolest person ever and I think that is really healthy for Uzi.
N needs to learn to stand up for himself more and we already saw that start to happen in the show but it needs to be in a way that allows him to stay himself.
Uzi is a great influence to him because she is so unapologetically herself, it rubs off a little.
She helps in a way that let's N pick his own pace and path instead of forcing him to stand up for himself.
She doesn't force him to change, she just stands by his side and reminds him he doesn't need to take everything thrown his way and swallow it down.
V would not be able to do this, she's too snarky and rough and mean sometimes even if she means well.
And she isn't open about her feelings very much so he wouldn't be able to learn by example.
I think seeing other people serve as an example by living it is definitely a big part of how N learns.
Once N and Uzi's issues are dealt with we have V who is INCREDIBLY bad at communicating her feelings. She'd rather keep quiet and secretive about anything that bothers her and tends to retreat into herself or lashes out when she's upset.
I think Nuzi being further in their rs is important because they need to stick together and be able to help each other learn V's language.
It'd take a lot of patience to coax her out of her emotional shell and I think Uzi would be too impatient to do it on her own and N would be too gentle about it, meaning V would be able to brush off his efforts to get her to open up.
V getting tag teamed by a romantically charged very long game of "good cop, bad cop" is probably the fastest way to reach her /silly /lhj
No but fr, I think V would very much benefit by getting stuck between these affectionate idiots and just eventually gives in.
There's issues she goes to N with and issues she talks to Uzi about and the two of them being different-but-one-unit helps her feel safer with time.
And V is great for both of them as well.
While she tends to be a little too harsh to N sometimes, she and Uzi have a great time getting their energy out by nagging and bothering each other.
V isn't someone who takes everything serious and Uzi can indulge in her a little meaner side with her while V does the same.
The banter is peak between these two and they know it.
They can play the way they want without having to be careful about their words.
Uzi needs someone to tell her the harsher truths sometimes and V needs someone who won't give in just because she gets upset or avoidant when there's an issue.
Meanwhile N and V go way back and that connects.
They understand each other in ways Uzi will never perfectly manage and sometimes that hurts but it's a good kind.
There's times where your trauma can't be understood by someone who didn't go through it.
N helps V remember herself a little and while she isn't the same person anymore, her calmer side still exists.
He helps her rediscover old interests and his presence often helps her stay collected and with time she mellows out a little.
It's in no way a change of personality but her chaos is now contained in a way that doesn't hurt V herself anymore.
She knows how to deal with herself better.
These three grow together until being with the others is as easy as breathing. Until navigating issues and fights is no big deal anymore.
And THAT'S where J can come in.
J is much more difficult and resistant to their efforts to include her and I think they all grow attached to each other by accident.
It would start as a simple "if V and N got another chance, J deserves one, too even if she sided with Cyn" type of deal, or maybe J would be desperate enough to come crawling back to the spire, though that is the least likely version.
J is a very no nonsense type of person even if she is silly in her own way.
Her emotional walls have emotional walls and her trauma is buried so deep in a pit of denial that she needs SERIOUS character growth before she can be put into any romantic sense.
But it happens.
Months are spent together (my favorite way is forcing them all to live together bxnsn that way they can't not deal with each other) and issues are brought up and fought over and talked about and slowly (REALLY slowly!!!) J opens up a little
J brings a type of "straight man" role to balance the jokester ones of the others.
She's snarky and fights with tooth and nail to be taken serious and she SO needs to calm down about that.
J lacks fun and enjoyment in her life.
She lives for nothing but her work and by the time she rejoins the others she's probably been lost and lonely for a while, lacking purpose and probably struggling with finding her will to go on.
The others help in different ways.
Uzi understands the feeling of being completely alone among people, having no one left who truly cares about you and being forgotten or left behind.
She understands J's bursts of anger and rejection but she isn't someone who will excuse her actions for it.
Having an explanation helps though and Uzi tries to make sure that she reassures J she's welcome and included whenever she notices her struggle. That she's important.
She doesn't say it, because she knows words mean nothing, but she gives her tasks to do to distract her and make her feel useful.
I think they'd bond over engineering.
J obviously knows a little bit about it and Uzi doesn't have anyone to share this interest with besides her father which isn't always the best option.
By the time J joins them Uzi doesn't need to learn much about relationships anymore.
She's secure and manages the little throuple well, but J helps her indulge in herself more again.
Their alone time in their workshop is important to her and J is easy to be quiet around.
N always engages her in something and V and Uzi can't sit still together for the life of them but J's presence let's her just sit and think sometimes.
They can spend hours talking about new projects but they can also just work alongside the other in silence. It's comfort in a way UZI didn't know existed. After all silence has always been connected to loneliness before.
V and J are complicated in their own right.
They spent so many years sharing a living space in the spire that it's almost impossible not to fall into old habits.
Not all of them are good and V has to actively remind herself that it's different now.
V struggles to forgive J for betraying them and it takes her a long time to understand the importance that Tessa held in J's life.
V wasn't as close to the human and she was offline for a long time before the gala so she missed a lot of everything.
They do find comfort in the familiarity however.
They don't talk about their mansion days but they finally have the safety to discuss Cyn without fear of retaliation.
They rarely do it but just knowing that the other went through the same helps and sometimes they reminisce about how hopeless it all was when they planned their escape back before J died.
They take the longest to adjust to one another again, but old habits come back eventually and their own brand of closeness returns better than when they were still hunting drones.
J has her own room but she rarely sleeps in it, preferring to be close to V instead.
The physical closeness helps both feel less paranoid.
They also help each other get rid of excess energy.
As much as V loves to wrestle Uzi, J is vicious in a way that has her drooling excitedly.
They do not hold back and their brawls often end in so much damage that N banned them from fighting close to their place.
The restlessness of the leftover hunting directive finally has a way to get beaten out of her and it helps V feel more prepared in case anyone tries to hurt them again.
N and J are complicated but not.
N is a million times more emotionally mature than when she last talked to him and it throws her off.
He's still the annoying, overly touchy dork she knows but he doesn't take her insults anymore.
He's developed a tone that sounds disappointed whenever she hurts him or falls back onto old habits and for some reason it hits deep every time.
He doesn't engage her baiting him into fights with very rare exceptions.
He isn't the same as he was at the manor anymore and J has to slowly realize that the grudge and dislike she held is toward a different person altogether.
She still gets annoyed by his extroverted enthusiasm but it's less intense now.
Then they start talking about Tessa.
J has had no one who understood and in a way N still doesn't because his feelings toward Tessa were of a different type.
But he loved her nonetheless and her loss is devastating to him as well.
Their discussions range from Tessa, to her family, to life in between.
They give each other the space to work through memories so deeply buried some of them have to be dug out by force and slowly they gain more understanding of each other.
And N is one of the first people since Tessa to touch J with gentleness.
It's just a pat on the head, a quick side hug, a brush if his tail, but it's connection J hasn't been allowed in so many years.
I personally think both N and J see each other as MOSTLY platonic, they don't have the same intense feelings for each other as they do with the other two but it connects them just as strongly.
I could go on endlessly but I think I'll stop here because this has gotten insanely long already.
Thank you for reading if uve made it this far, I love these four more than anything. They are peak to me, I hope I was able to convey a little of that (it is 3 am by now xbsnnsns)
Random MD fullcompany headcanons cause im tired lolll
- Fullcompany gang often sleeps in a big cuddle pile (Uzi built a big nest specifically for this reason)
- V, while usually enjoying sleeping in the cuddle pile, does enjoy sleeping on like a perch/hanging from the ceiling, so Uzi built a large perch overlooking the nest so she can get cozy while feeling like shes protecting her partners from danger
- J often joins V on the perch, and Uzi had to reinforce it after they broke it and fell down once wrestling eachother
- N is like the emotional support dog of the polycule, even if one of the gang needs space/time alone, that doesnt apply to N. because of this he often acts as a messenger after fights
(If this was asked before, I swear to god.)
FullCompany (NUziVJ) Headcannons?
aaaaaaaaa time to write once more- i missed being able to type away like the lil shit i am-
anyhow- okay lets see- gonna add some things here- tbh my ideas was mostly for Jenvy ideas mainly- but i guess ill fit Uzi in there lol
Some JeNVUzi HCs:
[once again- Drone au only, and maybe minor suggestive content but not nsfw]
The polycule is essentially formed around Uzi pulling them back together-
J's original reason for siding with Cyn which was rooted in fear- was on the basis that she still had her team on her side so she could keep them safe and so theyd have eachother to rely on even after Cyn destroys everything. she did not however, account for Uzi coming along and messing everything up and ruining her team's alignment while she was "dead".
the entire reason J tried to kill N or V at any time was cuz she knew a clone of them would be sent back anyway- she has basically become desensitized towards death in general given she had also died around 12 times herself [canon]- V and N try to help her through this- during which they also deal with Vs behavior and Ns trauma too.
to communicate with J they often had to spar with her- seeing as she hated talking about feelings- but this became their own thing they all did afterwards to unwind and communicate- as J opened up a lot easier after feeling like she was reached out to.
Uzi and J bond over anime and gaming- the latter being somewhere J could actually use her anger on more effectively XD
they all like reading books every now and then where one would read and the others snuggle or cuddle- they take turns. [this is from their manor days]
J is... unable to emote or show emotion easily and it eats her alive. she can't show the appropriate needed emotion to the mood of the room and it makes her have breakdowns- occasionally throw up- as though you are desperately trying to cry but the tears wont come so you try heaving it out- make yourself fit in and look normal by trying to FEEL something- but she cant. J is a dated business model drone- custom made for office work- she was made to be this way- Cyn didn't change her- and she grows to hate herself for it. so when a situation happens that she doesn't know how to react, she leaves or hides- until N,V or Uzi find her- usually disassociating or somewhat catatonic.
Uzi occasionally feels out of place with the group, as though she's just being a literal 4th wheel, since they have history together. the others try to show her that she is important to them each in their own ways-
addressing the elephant in the room- yes, it took a long time for N and J to come to terms with eachother- J eventually accepting that her original reason for hating N [him being better than her or preferred over her esp by Tessa] wasn't important anymore- and tries to appreciate him and V and Uzi more in whatever is left of her life.
make no mistake V and J are still very much bitchy on a surface level- just cuz they are all growing close does not mean they are all now lovey dovey with eachother or sweet and character-redemption-ed with everyone around them. therefore: "playful catfights" >:3 !
V and Uzi tease J alot- this is one of the reasons why J found more comfort with N- not gonna tell him to his face tho lol.
J teaches N to draw better and they bond over that alot-
Uzi and J like attention alot- and they wanna get it by being as wordless as possible- very cat coded.
Uzi, V and N like to drag J into doing more normal things that have less to do with work. so far J has mostly shown some interest in writing and maybe poetry but she WILL shoot your head off if you try to read her stuff-
J's first kiss was with Uzi- N and V having kissed once back at the manor being eachothers first kiss. J thinks V kisses the best tho lol.
N and V like to cuddle a lot- J and Uzi are usually dependent on mood-
V likes to bite- J likes to be bitten, N and Uzi like both- :3
J likes playing with N and Uzi's fluffy hair. V only lets N touch her hair.
during intimate cuddles- J has passed out the most lol. Uzi following a close second lol-
i love nuziv just dragging j into their polycule. cursed to get therapy and be loved and get 1000 bite marks on places where bite marks usually don’t go
