(Wednesday) Today (3/8/17) is International Women's Day, and I want to celebrate with showcasing one very famous female psytrance DJ. Even though I only started listening to her music, Altruism has collaborated with many of the biggest full-on DJs out there. This time pairing up with Outsiders, "Tribal Maker" was born.

(Psy Saturday) When talking about popular commercial full-on psytrance DJs, the name Outsiders is sure to come up. They were one of the first artists that got me into the full-on sound and are still pumping out great tunes!

"Spiral Of Colours" is a full-on track, clocking in at 144 bpm, and it shows that not all full-on needs to have fast hitting beats and crazy intertwining melodic and atmospheric lines. The rolling bassline, prominent in most psytrance tunes, is replaced by a more pronounced four on the floor beat pattern at 4:13; the accompanying vocals also play a role in keeping the energy low and pretty chill. There are some sections that retain the full-on style, of course, but comparatively it is a much more moderate in energy than some other tunes.

Although probably not best played for maximum energy and crowd craziness, this track is still psychedelic and good.
