Fumaria bianca (Fumaria capreolata L., Papaveraceae)
Fluffy's Language of Flowers Part. 4 Flowers when you DON’T feel like being Nice
Some people think, because flowers are flowers and look nice, there can’t ever be anything wrong with giving one…this is wrong.
There are lots of flowers which mean VERY unkind things.
Kinda sad…I think all these flowers are pretty…but as a gift from the Victorians, here’s some flowers to give to someone you don’t really like; or, to show someone in your story is NOT very likable~
We’ll start with Petunias.(just “petunia”. no common name). There’s nothing wrong with them, in fact they don’t always mean ‘mean’ things, but one meaning for purple or pink petunias is definitely 'resentment'.
Hydrangeas.(“hydrangeaceae”) are flowers that come in a pre-set bouquet in nature… and one of their most famous meanings, besides 'gratitude', is 'heartlessness' of a very cruel person.
Tiger lilies (the ones with stripe-spots) often mean 'classy' or 'wealth', but an Orange Lily.(“lilium”) means 'hate' or 'hatred' of some kind. You don’t want to get an orange lily as a gift...
Fumarias.(“fumaria officinalis”) are these warm-purple flowers that look kind of like lavender, but they mean 'anger', hence the 'fume' part of their name.
Yellow Hyacinths.(“hyacinthus”) are a really bad sign; it means that someone is jealous of you.
Finally, there’s Tansies.(“tanacetum vulgare”). Tansies are little yellow flowers that look like macaroni noodles and come in clumps. If you see them, it’s because someone is being very hostile or even declaring a war on you personally. There are literally no nice meanings behind tansies.
They’re an ANGRY little flower....
...I know the feeling...

Fumaria bastardii (Bastard's fumitory)
Fumaria is a genus of about 60 species in the poppy family. Many cultivars have been developed and they’re grown all over the world as a garden flower. However, this particular specimen is a wild species first recorded in the Vancouver area in 1966. This plant is native to Western Europe. It followed the trade routes during Europe’s colonization period and is now found growing wild in North and South America, Southern Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and a host of other countries.
This species common name, Bastard’s fumitory, deserves comment. In many animals, it can cause skin irritation on the lips if they eat it and it’s toxic to cats. This plant has a deep taproot (another common name is “carrot weed”) and it’s considered invasive in agricultural areas. Because it comes equipped with a taproot, you can mow it all you want - it will be back. Each plant produces about 800 seeds a season and they remain viable for 25 years. The seeds are routinely found in cattle droppings and are distributed by ants. They continuously flower from early spring to late October.
I have a theory that, even though fumaria are mentioned as far back as Linnaeus, I think that the Bastard’s fumitory was probably named by a very frustrated farmer.
Pretty little weed by CAJC: in the PNW Common fumitory (Fumaria muralis) has an interesting little flower, pretty complex. Although it's a European migrant, it seems quite happy in moist shady spots in Washington state. https://flic.kr/p/2iRsVXe
Senin dinginliğini,içten duru halini, O kâbusları bile esir alan belirleyici sınırların yok mu? Gizlerin dahi kapalı halini ihanet kabul eden sen; Sana uzaktan böyle -geri baş çevirmemin nedenlerini açıklamaya kafidir.
Seni hünerli küçük tavşancık seni, Havuç tarlalarından çıkmayan seni Ve beyaz pamukları dahi kendine hayran bıraktıran seni, Ödünç alıp da geri veremeyeceğim tek seni, Işığına ve sonsuzluğuna inandığım; Sana yakından böyle- ileri kalbimi teslim etmemin nedenlerini açıklamaya kafidir.
Şimdi ve başlangıca değin... Yalnızca doğruları önce yalanlarla besleyeceğime Ve daha sonra onları arındıracağıma, İnişleri ağlayarak ineceğime- Çıkışları gülerek çıkacağıma Ve orada olduğum sürece sana, yalnızca sana sadık kalacağıma; Kendime ait olan her şeyle -yani hiçbir şeyle yemin edebilirim. Fakat ışığına ve sonsuzluğuna inandığım gibi...

Earth Smoke by DanielaC173 I wish everyone a Happy New Year and may the new decade be the one in which we change our ways in time to prevent our Earth from going up in smoke. Fumaria officinalis, common fumitory or earth smoke. https://flic.kr/p/2i9BjbT
#2934 - Fumaria capreolata - White Ramping Fumitory
Native to Southern Europe, Northern Africa, and Western Asia, but now an invasive weed in southern Australia, New Zealand, and southern South America, where it can rapidly smother native vegetation.
The flowers turn pinkish after pollination.
