Soup Quest

I've decided for 2025 I want to have a Fun Resolution. Something that brings me joy. And thus, I have decided to embark on a Soup Quest. I'm going to try to cook and eat (or eat without cooking, in the case of restaurants) as many different kinds of soup as I can. But Quests are more fun when you have someone to share them with! So a question - if I were to share the soups from my Soup Quest, would you like these soups here on the main blog, or would you prefer a Soup Quest Sideblog?

Soup should be:

So I've seen a bunch of people doing whimsical new years resolutions, which like intrigues me so much as a concept. Let's be happier, let's be kinder, let's have more fun, let's experience joy

Anyway I want to get in on this but I actually also want to do like, some normally ones too, but I want it to be a game, not an I have to do this thing. Regardless I have like maybe 4 followers but I figured I'd post it here as like an accountability thing. For some context I have ocd, and have also just finished Mari Kondo's book on tidying so I'll be including stuff with that in here. If you ever feel like it, you can drop me an ask and check in on any of these lol anyway here goes

Read one of my TBR books a month or more often as I like

Mend one of my garments that needs mending per week until they are all mended or more often as I like

Change my sheets and wash them every week

Fold my clothes after I wash them

Have a night per month where I watch something on my watch list, or more often as it fits my fancy

Try something new at coffee shops I attend and write a little review of it

Visit as many different libraries as I can

Learn words that I get stuck in my head in Spanish

This is what I have for now, please enjoy and I hope to enjoy it too

Happy borth to me!!!

In celebration of the day my poor mother had to put down the Lord of the Rings in order to walk 20 minutes to the hospital at 1 am with her roommate, please send me one (1) new years resolution that is FUN!!!

I'll start: this year I plan to empty my "lists" in Netflix and Prime, preferably by watching everything I've saved in them. If I don't like a thing I will just delete it (this is supposed to be fun) but otherwise I WILL watch my saved programs and expose myself to Emotions[TM].
