I’m re reading Everlong (no surprise there….) and we’ve got to c7 with lily making the decision to buy Petunia out and James baking cookies (I’m now craving cookies)

And I’ve just read the part where she notices That Picture of her and James at the tree

- my heart is bursting at the thought of Mia and Monty keeping the picture - they never ever gave up on jily’s love 🥺❤️

I wanted to ask if you would ever do a little Drabble about that moment? Where they’re dancing around barefoot on the grass? Or if you’ve got any HCs about that scene I’m allllll ears 😍

Ahhhhhhh Evans Sisters Bakery <3

This is one where I love the premise and I really dove into it (It's an AU where Lily and Petunia run a Muggle/Magical bakery) but the plot keeps tripping me up. Originally it was going to be fluffy but it took a detour into angst town and nothing's really clicked for me. BUT I can give you a little snippet (sorry if I've shared before, this one has been put on the backburner until that 'click' happens!)

Her older sister doesn’t respond, instead bending down behind the counter to open the potion cabinet. “I’m going to be late to meet Vernon,” she called over her shoulder, hand closing around a vial of pink liquid. “This is the last of the beauty potions, I need you to brew more tonight.” Lily’s head falls to the side. “I have plans with James tonight, you know that.” “You had plans with him last night, too,” Petunia admonishes, putting the stopper back in the empty vial, her skin taking on a softer, more evened-out natural glow. She frowns. “You promised me you’d make some more this week — you know it’s one of the ones I can’t do.” Just as Lily opens her mouth to reply, a rapid knocking on the glass window of the bakery startles the both of them. “Speaking of Loverboy…” Petunia says wryly.

Can I share a little headcanon with you?(im going to anyway so sorry if you say no)

In Everlong (don’t ask me why) but I can somehow see James and lily having twins - a boy and a girl. Every time I think of them and imagine their future, I always see them with two kids, Sirius and Marlene with a little girl a few years younger, and then Teddy about 10 years younger than the twins. And obviously Mia and Monty living to see their grandkids grow up to older than the age of 10 months 🥹

I’ve adopted these twins as my personal headcanon for any sort of jily muggle AU HC universe that I’ve built up in my head - like q round of characters and personalities that they would have in a story if I ever get round to writing.

Everlong has a lot to do with that HC - lily and Remus being teachers, that childhood friends to lovers trope for Jily, the close dynamic of the VVA group chat (and the potters having at least 2 teslas between James and Fleamont 🤣🤣)

Yeah so literally NO ONE asked for this so idk read knwo why I’ve written it all out.

But I can’t stop thinking about Everlong and I figured I’d try and articulate why 🤣🥹

I have Harry as an only child, for a few reasons, but mainly I like the idea of his childhood being parallel to James', with his parents offering a great example of love etc.

Sirius and Marlene having a daughter (or twin girls) who grow up besties with Harry 💕

And yeah, Teddy is way down the line!

I wanted to ask - would you ever write lily and James’ story from when they were in school? Like how they got together in the beginning?

I know you had little snippets throughout Everlong, but do you have any plans to make that into a full story? If not, do you have any insights into it that you wouldn’t mind sharing?

I truly cannot explain the pull this story has on me - mentioned it in my review too but I actually don’t think I stopped thinking about it since I read it the first time a few years ago.

Lily and James’ love story being classic childhood friends to lovers makes me so so happy and maybe I’m just being pushy (sorry if I am) but I can’t help but want more from this universe

No pressure (obviously) but you’re an amazing writer and I can’t help but fangirl about your writing and this story!! X

I do have a vague unpublished wip that is teenage jily called the first cut is the deepest
