i am currently reading theogony by @clare-with-no-i and it’s SO GOOOOOODDDDDDDDD oh my god. can’t believe i just discovered this fic. and i will prob be screaming about it on here until i finish it (i am halfway through already, started it yesterday)

aside from taking one european lit class in my life, i am not very familiar with classics (and certainly not a lot about ancient greece). but i’m OBSESSED! and i very much encourage everyone to read it!!

the writing style is so evocative and beautiful, their characterizations are perfect, the STORY is so captivating. ugh. i literally can’t stop reading. PLEASE check it out!!

will categorically not speak on the hp remake after this post but it is funny how they took the adaptation of a children’s book series and made it look completely incompatible with a young audience. fully mask off marketing it to adults, who will be as reliably uncritical if not more uncritical of it than the 11 year olds the material is written for lol
