“FUN”d Run. I have to admit, I walked half of it. But I think I got the most miles out of everyone though. Also my pants kept falling down.
If there is anything to be learned about the 4 years I ran Cross Country, its that its not a team sport, but at the same time, it wouldn’t work on your own. Everyone is working to achieve greatness and improve themselves, but you are encouraged on by your teammates around you. Your rivals push you to keep going, your friends point out your improvements, and your enemies show you the flaws you have yet to destroy.
Through the good the bad and the ugly, through the fire and the flames, I guess I really am thankful for cross country.
