not my usual content but I've been obsessed with following Artemis II but I have been a space lover for much longer than that and I just found the most adorable proof.

these are awful pictures yes, but they’re awful because I took them on my digital camera in 2010 when I was 8 years old. So this is the perspective of 8 year old me learning about space in one of the most hands on ways there is at a museum, and from pretty much then on I was a total nerd about space.

So yeah, I did sob pretty much every time I tuned in to watching the Artemis II mission because it was just so incredible to witness something so historic and awesome and inspiring happen in real time.
