to me willmack feels like the true completion of like the plato's myth of humans originally being two-faced, eight limbed semi-divine beings and the gods split them apart for being incredibly powerful and tried to over throw the gods so zeus splits them apart.
it's the origin of love, the split leaves the humans miserable and always searching for their other half. the drive to find our soulmate is the need to be whole.
in this myth, when the two halves of the being are reunited, the when soulmates find each other there's an instant sense of recognition, familiarly, and affection and belonging. they feel and instant inseparable bond that makes them never want to leave each others sides.
the gods fear them being together though as together they have immense physical strength and power and are nearly impossible to ambush or surprise.
they feel overwhelming love and a deep recognition that goes far beyond physical attraction. they cannot explain what they want from each other because it's so much more than just physical. they would fuse their bodies back into one if they could.

I think it would lean more Crate and Barrel modern with a touch of American Classic pottery barn aesthetic. Modern California with a touch of that East Coast charm.

wait buzzy idea, will and mack had the boston/vancouver trips already planned at the beginning of the summer. Marmon goes down, they fight or whatever happened, they’re not talking and don't talk the whole time but neither of them cancels the trip and they don't want everyone knowing that they’re fighting so will flies to Vancouver anyway and then they realize they're fucking idiots who can't live without each other and now they’re like together together
