How easy is the fly cam to use? I'm concerned with downloading it and it messing with everything and making the experience not enjoyable.
So it definitely takes some getting used to.
If you hit the fly cam too fast for a scene it can sometimes send you to the nether regions of the scene. I got lost in Crestwood for the coin scene with Cullen… But a reload of the game and the tools fixed it.
Also, the focus seemed to break for me. If I tried focus instead of just panning closer or farther away, some setting broke that I could only fix with a restart of the game.
So it definitely takes some getting used to! But it’s fun to see what’s going on behind the scenes with all of our cut scenes! I just wish I had better saves, I totally want to check out the Ball setting next time! I need more playthroughs for more romance scenes too. Might steal the hubs Cass romance save. :D
You know what really pisses me off about tumblr?
The fact that you can't change a side blog to your main blog.
I'm so sick of not being able to message and like as acrossthedas.
funderly answered your question:I am curious. My daughter said I needed a tag...
I think it’s cute, and if it works for you, that’s what matters. I don’t use a queue tag. I don’t see the point
Neither do I but when the Daughter commands, the mother must obey.
Answering questions from norafox, tentaclefae, and funderly to start off.
Could you do a master post of all of your dragon age fashion posts? I want to see them all a am having a hard time finding them.
Yes ma'am I can!

Whew that was a long list!! If you're on the desktop version of Tumblr there's a button on my sidebar that says 'Dragon Age Fashions' that should take you to a list of these.
If anyone has any suggestions for fashion sets they'd like to see, please submit them! :D
tip for funderly from a fellow DM

learn what your players can and cant do and strip down if they litterally cant get around something for example say you have 2 fighters a rogue and a cleric but no real source of arcana you then realise there is a big magical trap half way through the session make sure you adjust things so either they can notice and avoid it/there cleric can get rid of it/the rogue can notice it or that the hit they take wont kill them (its not fair to kill em off if they cant do anything about it)
when the inevitable happens and they decide to run away from you and your plot make sure you have something set up like some monsters that ambush as they flee the burning orphanage that they may have or may have not set on fire
finally remember its not about you v.s. the players or you controling the players into playing how you want it to complete your story. its all about having a fun evening and if that means letting a player do something outside of standard rules or letting them run around killing parents and making kids orphans let them (but also let there be consequences such as a dark knight rising and taking an oath of vengance)
Some really excellent tips here, thanks!
Do you GM/DM? I am going to GM my first table top soon. Have any tips or pointers?
Yeah, I’ve been running games for a while. Okay, three tips:
Don’t necessarily get tied down to your story, because there’s a good chance your players will wander- a lot of the time, what I’ll do is have a vague framework of a story, the main encounters I want the party to get through, and then I’ll let them see how they get there. Sometimes, they’ll surprise you.
Make sure you’ve got a good handle on the rules you need to know, but don’t let the rules run the game
Have fun. That’s the big thing. Everyone having fun and the story are what come first, more than anything in the rules, so focus on that.
I hope it goes well!
Anyone else have any tips?
