I love Senene (longhorn grasshoppers) as much as the next Muhaya. My relatives used to send them to me when I lived outside Tanzania, and to date my father knows that bringing me a batch of Senene is an easy way to put a smile on my face. But...I had never seen them prepared from the living stage. Here a family friend shows me how to get Senene ready for the frying pan. I was thoroughly intrigued.
