What happened with doctor who
the current doctor is already regenerating despite barely getting any characterization or identity of his own + despite without even encountering any of the “staple” villains of the series. he didn’t even get to see a dalek. AND he didn’t even get a proper farewell like the others. ncuti was advertised as bringing forth a “new” wave of doctor who but he regenerated into billie piper in a clear nostalgia bait so people don’t drop the series entirely
also i haven’t watched it yet but apparently the finale completely disregards his current companion’s agency by reducing her into being a Mother and nothing else despite it making no sense for her previous characterization (although admittedly she also barely had a stable characterization)
