the way one (1) small comment abt sth money-related will trigger my financial anxiety so hard that I'll spiral for several days

#tf when u realize you'll probably always struggle financially just bc of what u were born into!#i thought it'd get better once i work #but now i have to pay for all of this apartment stuff which means i'll basically have to start over w saving money #& i'll have to pay a shit ton back for student loans in two years!#and when i got student loans i couldn't save up that much money either bc if i had a certain amount of savings #my student loan would've been cut!#it's all so fucked that ppl w lesser incomes are basically always doomed to have little income #i'm! stressed #i just want to go on vacation once #i thought i could bext year but w the way things are looking rn i'll have to spend another two years w/o ever going on vacation #funnnnnn

Further adventures in mobility aids! My first rollator (new to me) with my first cane (idek how old). I was extremely princess in a world of peas, and managed to find one with only one or two (okay, I found one with none, except the impassable pea soup of not being able to get it out of Australia for under $1k, RIP that dream). This one has the advantage of folding TWICE, so it will be (I hope!) even easier to get in the car for our upcoming road trip. I'm reeeeeally hoping this will make it easier for me to walk longer in the redwoods without falling over. I mean the ground there is soft, but often sluggy, so what if we don't do that? 😆

Blinging it out will have to wait until I get back, alas, as we leave tomorrow. @hereeatthiskitten is thinking iron-on patches on the back, and of course stickers on any hard surface.

The general public, coming out of isolation and back into a world filled with people (while all the same problems as before still exist and are in fact getting worse and also even the upper middle class are feeling the financial losses), are being fucking weird. If you are being weird also, I get it. The awkwardness and everything, that's understandable. The manic anger and sudden bursts of a certain class and type of people trying desperately to prove they are still "important" to us peasants, is not.
