I like the "Al-Haitham is a robot" theory because in my head that means he can use a funny mic but in person.

Imagine your an average student at the akademia, you've handed in your assignment to be reviewed by the sages scribe. You eagerly wait for his response.

He looks up from your assignment and calls you a fucking moron in autotune, and then descends into the 5th dimension while staring directly into your soul.

I could see him doing this, especially to kaveh.
