This is Macallan, one of the lucky pups to have rescued! This is why we do what we do: He is 9 weeks old, half husky and half lab. He goes by Cal. My husband and I rescued him from a family who was fostering his parents. The only thing we know is that his dad is a lab and mom is a white husky. We looked all over town for an adult lab to rescue and then Cal and his brothers and sisters were offered to us on the first day we started to look. We decided that we would raise the pup after seeing how cute him and his siblings were. The only problem, we couldn't take all 7 puppies! Boy were we in for a surprise. He has been the best thing that has happened to us (yes even the sleepless nights). We recently got Cal a trainer to teach him the basic commands and to help him get acquainted to other dogs and people. He is the smartest puppy I have ever met and we are so excited to see him grow up to be the big dog he's bound to be!
