Somewhere around 12-1am, on 11/13/2022, and 5 days before my 20th birthday, my Father unexpectedly passed away.
It happened so fast, and we were all so confused, heartbroken, and so much more than words can express. My father hasn't had the best health in many years, and recently he has decided to get better and catch up with this health...But we guess it was just too late. We've struggled with crying spells for these last two days, on and off, but in general, we are staying strong and confident.
My Father was an incredible, no, remarkable man. He was brave, strong, funny, and sweet. No one is without their flaws, as he was quite the stubborn type in a lot of ways, too. But he had so much heart and passion. He was a great business man and had so much strength and resolve. He was a lover of science and computers and the sea, and had great ideals and stellar advice. We love him so very much. And I know a part of him is still within us.
We all cannot help but feel like we took him for granted in many ways, but to honor him, we have chosen to push forward in our lives. We know that's what he would have wanted.
My Mother will be opening a GoFundMe very soon, so I will update this with the post when the time comes. My Father is going to be cremated and we'll be putting his ashes in a special box, until we can afford a beautiful urn. However, we're going to need the money in order to do so. And while we are going for an apartment ASAP, and have no bills to worry about for this month, I'd love to have some money saved to the side for these emergency situations.

Literally 10s of fans have showed up for the best physically distant sporting event in LA. We’ve taken two weeks off racing, but the training has continued. We’re finishing our 5k series this Saturday with our first ever head-to-head battle as their Aunt Hey-Hey watches the kids. The last four races have raised $5158 for charity as we took bets on each race and donated that money, plus matching amounts, to the East LA YMCA, Public Counsel Debtors Assistance, Every Mother Counts, and the Navajo Nation Covid-19 Relief Fund.
