I received my first allowance today! yay. So far it’s been random gifts in various amounts, but we recently had the allowance talk.. and sure enough, he followed through! I’m still a little shocked that things are going so well. He genuinely seems happy when I show him something I bought or when I tell him I took care of whatever I needed to (bills, car stuff, etc). 

I am truly hoping our arrangement continues.. at least for the next 6 months. I’ve created a serious plan for paying down a good bit of my loans and credit cards within a year... but I need his "support” to do it lol
