These very fun specimens are a Pseudomorph of Hematite after Marcasite from Egypt! A Pseudomorph is when one stone takes over the crystallinity of the first stone. Hematite does not form like this but Marcasite does. So when the Hematite takes over, it holds Marcasite structure. I think they look like little Sputnik’s. They are relatively dense.
